That a 996 couldn’t beat a custom built drag car in the 1/4 mile?
Hell, from what I just read it would have trouble beating a 5 h.p. Briggs&Stratton go cart.

Judging by that reference I’d say about 5 years before I was born.

It’s cool you saw some some tuned up muscle cars.

Please stop comparing them to actual engineering near perfection

Just trying to educate you oldsters about cars. Happy to help.
But I don't want to know about the stuff that is too slow in the 1/4 and weight not balanced enough for the twisties.

You don't get it.

#1. you've provided no useful info about Porsche or any other vehicle.

#2. No one is impressed with your chickmobile.

Go pick up chicks. They may be impressed.

I'll be honest though. I'd rather own an old SS, Chevelle, Charger than a Porsche. I don't think I've gone above 82 in about 10 years so speed isn't exactly a factor for me much anymore

Wut?

You don't know much about Porsche huh?

I know WTF they are. If you are impressed you don't know much about them.

Where is the engine?

What is the weight balance?

Why don't the rear engine versions win races against cars in their class?

If you think German engineering is sooo dam good you might want to look into why they will design something and then put "bandaids" on it to avoid admitting they have problems.

don't address facts.

Time for you to go screw somebody's daughter.

I presented you with a well known fact about the balance. They are arse heavy. Front traction is a problem.

I actually love the 60s-70s and some of the 80s old vehicles. No doubt, they had less tech and speed but some of them were awesome looking. They were absolutely solid steel tanks which is part of the charm to me.

They did? Not sure what you're trying to get at.
