You going to be waiting awhile. on Entergy's outage map hundreds of thousands are without power in New Orleans.
You might get lucky and thousands get their power on with the flip of a switch. Who knows maybe they shut the power grid off in parts to prevent damage.

There are nearly a million customers out of power because of the storm....you may as well relax and save yourself some stress....it’s gonna be a minute before you get power.
