We were too far out in the country for rabbit ears to work. Instead, we had an aerial like this....



With it facing one way you could get ABC, NBC, and PBS, turn it another way and you could get CBS but it never came in as clear as the others. Those were your only choices. If you did not want to watch what happened to be on at that time, well you just went and found something else to do.

What was the name of that show? Remember the guy who got onto the show and basically had figured out the pattern the boxes moved in? Won like 280k or something silly. Ended up dying in a plane crash if I remember correctly.
