mid 1970's a shipyard south of Raceland side launched a large off shore service boat side ways in bayou Lafouche . It rolled over and stayed .

Boat building down the bayou used to start with the hull being made upside down right on the bank. Then it was flipped into the water and completed dockside. As supply vessels got much bigger, there was a steep learning curve. Launches didn't always work every time. Today Gulf Coast shipbuilding and vessel capability are quite impressive.

Anyone that is even remotely connected with this might as go ahead and make a escape attempt. Because that is their only chance if remaining alive.
