If they were Biden supporters and the woman was a Trump supporter and a Biden supporter went after them after she flipped them off then they would be horrible people.

You are right, she does. She also should not be assaulted for what she did, but if I was in the car with my young daughter, I wouldn't attempt to antagonize someone else. Neither the MAGA guy nor her saying Biden 2020 was ever going to change the others mind so why even waste effort knowing nothing good would come of it.
I would say the same thing no matter the circumstance. For instance, if a group is holding BLM flags on the side of the road, I'm not even going to waste a breath saying Blue Lives Matter, etc. Nothing productive would come of it.
