Sounds relatively simple and easy to do until you realize the NOPD will confiscate your gun, the perps family will sue you in court, the NOPD may or may not charge you with the illegal discharge of a fire arm in city limits (a Felony charge), and if you get passed all of those obstacles you have to worry about the vermin's friends and family targeting you or your family in some sort of retaliation event which doesn't usually work out so well.

I am willing to bet some of the lawyers on here would be willing to defend anyone who does this for free and if you are smart about it you will never be convicted since there is nothing illegal about self-defense. Just do it!!!!

Hopefully someday they go to jump someone who has a conceal carry and that person pulls their weapon and shoots everyone of the attackers. Maybe that will send a message to these thugs..
