Tulane Reily center closes for a week late summer every year for renovations and you get a free reciprocating pass to work out at Loyola for a week. My high school gym was leaps and bounds better than their facilities.

Any female student I met from Tulane always seemed happy as all hell. It seemed like summer camp. Come down from New York for 9 months at a time. Smoke a bunch of weed in your apartment and spend daddy’s money. Go to the library to study for finals only. Other than that you go out every night to a great uptown bar scene. Enjoy unique New Orleans culture. And just do nothing productive until you graduate and then move to NYC when you’re done. All the alcohol and drugs you’d ever need are easily accessible to facilitate a four year Bender.
