Yeah refrigerator pisses me off. No such thing as cooling food. You are removing the heat from food. A fridge takes heat from inside and moves it outside the fridge. Cooling? What morons...
Only idiots say that their food is cold. No your food had it's heat removed. Thank you.

Who tf says concrete truck. It's a cement mixer

A cement truck is a truck that hauls cement from a barge by the Intercoastal canal to a concrete plant. There, it is unloaded into a silo for production of concrete, a mixture of cement, aggregate, water, and admixtures. Concrete is mixed in either a central plant and hauled in a dump truck or more commonly loaded into a transit mixer and taken to a jobsite.

I made cement, the other day, then got cement from the cement mixture and I added water with the hosepipe connected to the hot water heater.

Looky here, baw. I think it's like this: the mixer departs from the depot with the rotating tank containing cement. Once at the job site, aggregate is added to the cement and then mixed in the rotating container. Out comes concrete.

So, how is it wrong to call it a cement mixer when the truck leaves the depot with cement in it that becomes concrete when mixed with aggregate at the job site?

And finally, it's pronounced SEE-ment. Also that cigar you're smoking? It's a SEE-gar.

Baw.

Well, BAW, you are another idiot. NO aggregate is added at the jobsite....it's all done at the "depot", as you call it. CEMENT, aggregates, water and admixtures are added at the plant, unless there is an accelerator added, which IS added at the job siite.

I've been a concrete foreman and superintendent since 1983, receiving a degree in civil engineering in 1987 and now I'm a practicing licensed civil engineer in 7 Southeastern states.

I believe I KNOW concrete.

But, you guys carry on.

OK, Baw, you made your argument and won your case. All of the mixture, except for an accelerator, are placed in the mixing tank back at the depot and it arrives at the job site as mixed concrete.

UNLESS the job calls for cement alone and only cement, in which case, it is a CEMENT Mixer!

Wooo -- hooo! I'm partially right !
