There is no such thing as a self made person.

Everyone who is rich and successful right now are there because of a series of lucky events, rare opportunities and external factors outside our control.

ETA = rich and successful here is not OT millionaire level. It’s the billionaires here

Wrong.

Sam Walton went from growing up on a farm to creating the richest family in human existence.

I reject the idea that external inputs are always controlling factors.

They aren't always controlling.

Let's assume you always react poorly to external factors. If you randomly act well to one, either the factor changed you OR you always had the capability to act well and simply didn't do it.

You seem to believe that everyone has the latter in them. I don't believe that. I think some people are born with it, some people are develop it, and some people never have or nor develop it. The latter group could have been the middle group, but they didn't get the right breaks.

I think most people live life in the material, not the internal.

You can choose to overcome or you can choose to accept circumstance as fate. Most people are terrified of what they'll find inside if they take responsibility and learn about themselves

No.

What were the drivers behind you not dropping out of HS and just doing drugs all day?

What factors led you to make the decisions that made you successful?

I'm not saying luck doesn't have anything to do with it. In fact I'd say luck has a huge overwhelming majority to do with where I am today. But to say that you have 0 input on making yourself successful is only something poor people believe.
