If you're buying shite at a convenience store, you are price insensitive anyway. $2.39 or $3.19, you're buying it anyway. Because at Sam's they'd be $0.45 a unit, and you should be prepared for what comes with a two hour drive.

I generally agree, but most of these shops probably have captive supplier agreements. If the supplier decides bread costs 40 cents more a loaf this week, then it does.
