P is partially responsible for Cecil Collins' issues.
Long story short, a girl from LSU is in one of their videos, and a bunch of the guys wind up messing with her. Cecil is at P's house and they are all talking about it. They tell Cecil where the girl lives, and he heads over there. Cecil lets himself in and tells the girl, "Don't you know who I am, I am Cecil Collins." Problem is, the girl wasn't there, but her roommate was, and her roommate was the granddaughter of a VERY big booster.
DiNardo talked to the booster and the booster said he didn't give a damn who Cecil was, he needed to be off the team immediately.

I also recall the rumors that P was influencing LSU football games, at the same time the defensive backs mysteriously suddenly couldn't swat down passes right in front of them. Then suddenly P stopped being seen at the Rec and the new rumor was LSU kicked him off campus bc of the football bribing.
This wasn't a rumor at all. It created a ton of problems on the team. There were players that had legitimate pro aspirations like Gabe Northern who flipped the hell out over this.

They were pumping Cecil's head up. They gave him shite all the time, and he was going to be a part of that ill fated sports agent shite. Cecil is partially the reason why they decided to get into that business. He was constantly over there, and they used to throw women at him all the time, among other things.
I am not saying Cecil is not responsible for his actions, he had something wrong with him, but they are somewhat culpable. There is more to the story...

I can add one fact. Master P, at least during his BR days, wouldn't pay for anything unless you sued him for it.
I can attest to this. I owned a landscape/lawn maintenance company during his time in BR and I used to do a lot of work in CCL. I did a considerable amount of work at 5 different CCL homes for him. I was paid a cash deposit and I had to file liens against the properties to collect the balance. I eventually collected when the homes were sold/foreclosed.

Is a guy named C- Murder really surprised a murder trial didn't go his way?

Buddy of mine had a back yard that backed up to P's in CCL.
P's house was on a lake.

I used to work at Just For Feet next to Cortana Mall, which is now some rip off furniture store. I met damn near everybody that was on the label, because they were always in there trying to pick up the girls or buy shite.
I would buy just about every cd at the time, I was a big fan then. I always had CDs and would get them to sign them. None of those guys ever declined to sign anything or have an attitude at anytime.
I have a few stories of them coming in. They very rarely came in as one or two guys, it was usually 5 or more.
The one that I will always tell people was when Snoop first signed with No Limit he came in as soon as we opened he comes in and the sales person which happened to be a woman is following him around as he is picking up jerseys and novelty t-shirts and finally gets to the low top converse. We were one of the few stores that carried multiple colors and he got whatever colors we had in his size. The funny thing is the t-shirts he bought. If you are old enough to remember the Taco Bell chihuahua and the South Park Christmas Poo those are some of the shirts he bought. To me it was funny, because those weren't the typical shirts a famous black man would be picking up of all things. Nice guy signed a magazine ad of his first no limit cd for me.
I only saw P in the store once and it was the fastest any black man had ever come in that store. He was looking for a particular shoe and we didn't have it or his size I guess. He was in and out in like 2 minutes. C- Murder as crazy as the guy is and as ghetto as he may have seemed, he was cool as shite. Silkk thought he was a pimp and he seemed the most standoffish. Never saw the three of them together. The only thing I know for sure was that the No Limit label all had Black Navigators. I never saw a Camaro.
I'm sure I can think of more stories if I really try. I was fortunate to work there at that time. You have to remember at that time, BR was a different city and there weren't many famous people you saw often here. Didn't have movies being filmed every day then and for sure didn't have popular music guys in the city either. I miss that BR to be honest.

One of the places they recorded music was in a building on Corporate, a block or two away from Hooters. It was a white office building that was multiple offices. It was two stories. Can't think of the name.
