We most likely knew each other very well then.

Carney went to play ball at SLU in Hammond. Not sure what happened to James Banks?

Y'all should make out in the backchannels. Woodlawn rules. Broadmoor Belaire Redemptorist all suck.

My only contribution to this thread is that the major players of that group were pretty well liked and welcomed at the casino.

And this was his house. Someone did actually put a jet ski in that lake. Not sure if he got a chance to do it twice as that surely didn't go over well.

Yep. He was the shooting guard.

High school basketball in Baton Rouge was so good back then.

Baton Rouge did have good basketball back then. Lots of good white boys too.

I remember the 1994 Glen Oaks, Belaire, Central, Woodlawn basketball games when they played each other were awesome to watch. Some crazy talent was on the floor for those games against each other.

Woodlawn had a tall white guy that could shoot..last name was Lee maybe?

It was still like that when I was in school. Woodlawn wasn't too bad either, if I remember correctly.

92 and 93 seasons easily the best team in any class in BR.

Well except for the very last game of each of those seasons.
Probably the Reason Almond didn't retire earlier when neither won the title.
