I met him a few times. I’m good friends with his daughters and his wife is a sweet lady. I sang with his daughter Kolby at a wedding.

Was just watching some old WWF and googled if Brian Christopher died, which I thought he did, only for him to die 2 days later.

Amen to that. I coulda sworn the Russian National Anthem sounded different when he sang it, compared to the one i listened to during the world cup.

"Russia number one, Iran number one, USA, ha-spit!" Classic. The Iron Sheik is the last living legend bad guy.

Jerry Lawler's pretty damn old.

The WWE quit putting him and guys like Ricky Steamboat in the ring when at least two of them had heart attacks afterward.

Saw him live at the East Park Recreation Center in Houma about 1981. The Iran hostage crisis was still fresh in the minds of the audience. A few dudes wanted to take him on.

That was the name I would use when play-wrestling my young boys several years ago. RIP

Search YouTube for “Honky Tonk Man Jerry Lawler” lots of great stuff from HTM absolutely burying Lawler (they’re shoot cousins). Stuff like Lawler got caught sniffing bicycle seats outside an elementary school.

The Nikolaw always respect the legend,
always respect the shieky baby.

RIP.
