My wife and I were in town and went to the opening ceremony and one of the events. Looks like it will be a success.

The weather wasn't the greatest for part of last week. I saw an interview with one of the Parkour judges who was from Spain. He was asked what he thought of Alabama weather. He said, "It is very hot and very rainy."
This week has been better for the most part. I haven't seen much negative about the games themselves, just general weather complaints.

Been seeing that sign at the border since last year but heard nothing about it otherwise. Figured it was some weird self congratulations for Bama as they are known to do.
