You fish or launch a boat enough eventually you will do something stupid at the boat launch. It happens.

The most epic boat launch fail I've seen recently was a "premature" launch i saw Friday night. I came over the overpass right before Highland on I-10 eastbound and there was a flatboat in the road straddling the left two lanes. A guy in an industrial work truck w/ trailer was pulled over a few yards away.
It's a miracle there wasn't a fatal accident. There is no way that boat got moved quickly. A policeman passed me on the Highland exit ramp, but it had to be at least a few minutes before he was able to loop back from Siegen and warn people.
