"KellyAnn Frederick says a National Honor Society sponsor claimed school administrators want everyone to feel included in graduation and not single students out."

Kids worked hard for it... but don't let them celebrate their hard work. America.....

Oh well. If you're putting in the community service hours in order to have a blue emblem on your stole then just give it up anyway.

You must at all costs hide the fact that some people care enough to try and better their communities. It ruins the political narrative

I really don't get the fuss. I mean it is a weird policy considering they let students wear honor stoles, just not NHS ones, so the "participation ribbon" argument is dead on arrival.

The only think I can imagine is that they may deem the NHS service requirements as a limited opportunity that is not available to all students. For example, in high school the NHS required service hours involved before school tutoring. Depending on what bus you rode, you couldn't get there early enough to get the required hours completed in time for graduation.

I mean that is a stretch, but that may be the thinking.
