Yep.
The stuff bleeding over to JP and other areas isn't making the same news, but the whole area is fricking wild right now.
Surprised the shite on the interstate the last week isn't a bigger story on here. Between the crash/deaths on Christmas then the two killed night before last.

This already happens all the time during Saints home games. Guess the out-of-town aspect is what actually made this news worthy.

Absolutely I do. I freaking love NO. We use to drive down for Mardi Gras and weekend getaways multiple times a year. I would love to go back. But as things stand, there’s no way I’m stepping foot near New Orleans. And what’s sad is I don’t see that changing again in my lifetime.

2016 was the last. I’d have gone to 2017 as well if I had not had my heart issues in late 2016. When Mardi Gras came around in 2017 I’d not even been been cleared to drive, much less travel.

Lol - I’ve been in all those places, too, and that’s my old neighborhood- sad how it’s changed in less than 20 years
There used to be shootings at the daiquiri shop (where mr Ed’s is now) but it was never random
