Being pretty is relative and largely dependent on region, but there are neighborhoods all throughout uptown, mid city and lakeview that are overwhelmingly safe.
Sorry bub, someone was shot and killed in that shopping center with frey.
You have restaurants, grocery store, gym and dentists all rt there. That's not safe. thats everyday stuff people shouldnt have to worry about getting shot doing.
And as far as suburbs go. You can live outside of a city and not be in mass subdivisions like it is in houston or atlanta.
I dont live in the city and i also dont live in a subdivision.

I mean, a broken window is a pain in the butt and shouldn’t happen but in a discussion about weather safe, it’s ridiculous to place those two incidents side by side.
people are constantly murdered in mid city and uptown.
yall cant be fricking serious.
A lady had her arm ripped off and left to bleed out during the day in midcity.

This should bump up the "Guns from Louisiana stats" The Advocate is talking about.

people have stuff stolen and broken into every night there. There’s a reason some residents put the flashing blue and red lights up on their house
Not true.
Every once and awhile cars have been rifled through. The last time, 3-4 months ago, JPSO caught them. Been very quiet, and area usually gets some petty theft when schools are out. Heavy police patrol is a huge deterrent and there will be even more patrols starting this year.
Only blinking camera lite I know of is on Vincent by St Francis. They may have them at other points of entry to MCG, I really haven’t noticed. They do have cameras at entry points.
