I teach high school math, mostly seniors, and the psychology of what could possibly go through these teachers minds when it comes to putting themselves in these situations is crazy to me.
I mean, this chick is 23 years old, cute, newly married, in her I'm assuming 2nd year teaching and decides to meet up with some male student at 8:30pm on a school night, and not at some public place like a Starbucks or Barnes and nobles, but on some street in a parked car

Pretty obvious she wanted to blow/bang the boy he didn't go with it and things went downhill from there. May have told his parents, etc...who knows?

I would guess because they didn't want anyone to see them together, but if their meeting was innocent, maybe for tutoring or college help, then who cares if people saw them at a public place. Instead, they are in a parked car when it's dark outside on some street, that may or may not be deserted, alone.....

you have to be pretty idiotic to pull something like that. but hell shes 23. legally you are an adult but these days 23yr olds are not much more than teenagers when it comes to the mental aspect. many still dont think of the consequences of their actions.

Supposedly it happened at Olinde's shopping center on 5th and Olinde Street. Kind of a run down 1950s strip center with a furniture store and a burger joint way, way off main street.
It's deserted at night and there isn't much traffic there.

This is where the reporting can be fricked up. I'm betting anything they took that kid off to side away from her and scared the shite out of him with threats of calling his parents or expulsion from school until he admitted they touched/kissed/etc.
That's all it takes for the charge. Conviction will be different story.
