While I sympathize with people like that, they can still be a dangerous threat to those around them.

Once again, I'm going to say that law enforcement needs better non lethal means in the form of a well trained k9. A 75lb German Shepard is color blind therefore incapable of racism. Once The dog hops in that car window, the driver would have most certainly changed his attitude toward the officer. Every other car should have a k9 these days.

Yeah, not putting a dog through a broken window.

Plus, then you'd have a live car with a flailing person going out of control. Dogs don't turn off cars.

Of course. I was responding to the poster who was busy letting us all know he has no sympathy. If this person was mentally ill, I have particular sympathy for his family.

Absolutely. And so far in this video I see some wrongdoing. However I do not see sufficient wrongdoing to warrant getting shot and killed . I do not see any attempt to ram a cop with his car just before getting shot.
