Which is better to live in and why? I read about crime on both sides of the river so I don’t know.

It's New Orleans. Does the bank really matter?

Your question is roughly the equivalent of
“Would you rather eat at Brennan’s or Waffle House?”

The east bank has lots to offer.

They have these things now called cars. You can get from the east bank to the west bank, or vice versa, in literally minutes. Ultimately, live where you want. I mean shite.. most of the white people in the streets of New Orleans at Mardi Gras don't even live in the city.

Or hours, in the case of Baton Rouge.
