Nope because smoking in public is for douche bags.

It's not like there were many places left you could smoke inside anyway. The biggest was the casino. Other than that just some shitty bars.

No doubt, but some are acting like this ban has allowed them to finally leave the house in safety.

In the end, go bring your stink outside, then come back in like an adult and don't mess up the area for non dirty people.

Seriously, don't be lazy, go outside.

Please for the love that is all and right in this world. WAKE UP!!!

This is not about cigarettes! This is about freedom, liberty, choice…ya know the founding principals of this great nation.

As long as THEY keep us fighting with each other we as a society will never come together and take on the real enemy. The politicians on the left and the right that want nothing more than power and money. NONE of them care about the American people. To believe otherwise is foolish or afraid of confronting reality.

Kind of like the people acting like this law is the beginning of the end of liberty? There's plenty of overreaction to go around.

ETA: See right above me.

And you are not obligated to go to an establishment that allows smoking. There are plenty of such places.

Why the frick can people not grasp the idea of personal choice? It's unnerving.

I don't like this. Gov't should BAN IT!!!!!

Slippery slope. Look in to it brother.

FYI. I'm not a smoker. I would be just as angry if they decided to ban ANY legal substance or object in ANY private business or residence.

Said it several times throughout the thread that I don't smoke and actually hate smoking.

What I also hate is the government infringing on the liberties of any American.

You are also being ignorant and only looking at smoking and not the fact that the government is banning a legal activity from a place of private ownership.

If they can do this, whats going to stop them from telling you what legal activities you can't do at your house?

Seriously, don't be a sheep that forces the government to handle stuff you are to big of a pussy to take control of. You don't want to go to a smokey bar, then dont fricking go. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone should adhere to your wishes.

They do have bars that don't allow smoking already without the government telling them to you know.

" What is your opinion on 9/11?"

It was a horrible tragedy that took many innocent lives.

What do you think about the price of tea in china???

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Now YOU can go somewhere that allows smoking: outside.

If you want to WALK to your neighborhood bar and assfricks like you are there chain smoking..then tell me to go DRIVE somewhere else where people are respectful of community air... I say, welcome to a better bar.

More to the point, this is about money- There is an organization called the Louisiana Public Health Institute- a nonprofit whose CEO makes over $200,000 dollars a year and job it is to make a profit of doing notorious things like banning smoking in bars even though it has a less then minimal effect on public health. The anti-smoking crusade is a racket.

The deal is you are not forced to be around other people's smoking.

I very rarely find myself around other people's smoke at any place other than a smokey bar, that I CHOSE to go to.
