Well, if you talk to them about it, you won't be able to kill it without being a prime suspect. If you call animal control, I think you would be on record there also.
Seriously, a pack of orbitz gum or mentos gum from the grocery store will kill that dog in 24hrs or less if he ingests it. Even sago palm seeds are lethal in the same way. Acute Liver Failure.
Poisoning it is chickenshit though. But, pay me now or pay me later. I would not have a dog like that around my family. If they are leaving that dog outside day and night, it isn't a pet. And it will become less and less socialized toward people the longer it remains isolated.
Sucks to be you because you have some tough decisions ahead of you. If you don't put it down and it mauls your child, you will be scared for life emotionally and your child will bear the scars of your indecisiveness for the rest of their life. If you do put it down, you are basing your decision off of a probability that may never happen.
Me: I'd load that dog up in my vehicle when it got out again and drop it off with a bullet before I would let it potentially maul my kids or my own dog in 6 months.

What is that supposed to mean? Did you mean to say Hyundai?

Pit bulls should be outlawed, they are too dangerous to have anywhere around people.I knew a guy that had one in a pen trying to be a responsible pit bull owner. It was a chain link pen and I’m not talking about normal yard type chain link. This was the heavy duty security fence chain link and that damn pit chewed a hole in it and got out. What he did to his other dog in his fenced in yard was awful.I would have never believed any dog could have chewed through that fence if I hadn’t seen it myself.
That pit bull was eliminated shortly thereafter,he shouldn’t have had it in the first place.

These threads are starting to make me root for the pitbulls all around the world.

No action yet. I'm just gonna keep an eye on the situation. I can't imagine the HOA letting the cinder block fix repair fly very long.
He is still young and nice. But if he continues to break out on a regular basis, I'll start making some calls to animal control

which they leave their dog outside what seems to be most of the day and night because I can always hear the dog barking.
Most know me here as a huge pitbull type supporter, so the cruelty and animal responses are only going to put you in jail or under scrutiny and you don’t need that headache. As yes, these pussies are serious about killing animals. No trolling.
Your comment above tells me they’re already neglecting the dog. I would keep an eye on it..
The dog is only going to be as disciplined and kind as the owners decide. Leaving it outside all day and night isn’t the way to raise a dog who’s going to love everyone. I’d be pissed being outside 24/7 too.

I would never poison a dog. A man eating death machine is another story.
