The extra 1.5 hours a day driving would kill it for me.
I saw an article recently that said a person's happiness and level of anxiety are strongly linked to the length of their work commute. Longer is worse.

Change would be roughly going from 20 minutes to an hour.
Unless you hate the people you work with or you want your future job to include more work that involves international business in your industry, I just don't see the benefit with what little information you've given us.
If you hate your current job because of the people or the work you do, then frick, go for it. Or if you will have better career opportunities as a result of more international experience, go for it.
But from what you've said, no. International travel is not all it's cracked up to be because 9 times out of 10, you aren't going to Japan to see Okinawa. You're going to see the inside of a hotel, the inside of a plant or office, and then the inside of a plane again. You likely won't spend much time in Munich going to the biergartens, you'll spend time in a hotel, then in a plant or office, then back in a plane. What's so much better about that than what you have now?

This is a very fair point. And it's a concern I do have.
I will add that whenever I travel, either in or out of the country, it will usually be for multiple days, so that I can meet with clients in a group setting and then at a later time individually. I don't know how much free time that would afford me, to be honest.
Don't hate the people I work with now, but don't love them. Fairly cutthroat, so I trust no one but we are all friendly with one another. New job would likely be much more friendly and less competitive because it will be a team environment.

Do it. The exposure to other countries and customs is good for anyone. Granted it is business travel and thus free time to see anything may be limited. But you will experience some of the place you visit.
That coupled with moving to a more team oriented office sound like huge pluses to me. And as you say, the air miles will be great.
