Athletes who have transitioned would only be able to compete on teams specific to the biological sex they were assigned at birth.
They shouldn't let biological girls who "transition" to become boys compete in girls sports if they've been receiving hormone treatments to boost their testosterone. Thats basically PED's

I’m pretty sure they’re free to play with other males.

If a student’s sex is disputed, the ‘Save Women’s Sports Act’ would allow them to establish “biological sex” with a doctor’s note that "verifies sex based solely upon the student’s internal and external reproductive anatomy, the student’s normal endogenously produced levels of testosterone, and an analysis of the student’s genetic makeup.”

Would'nt a birth birth certificate suffice...

Yep the headline is pretty dramatic, the second paragraph says:

"Athletes who have transitioned would only be able to compete on teams specific to the biological sex they were assigned at birth."

So basically the team they're supposed to play for.

you are either male or female.

you dont decide that.

this should be common sense

for the most part..but while rare there are people born intersex where the plumbing doesnt match the fixture or have other hormonal issues. I guess thats where further testing besides a birth certificate would be required if their was a dispute. I do feel bad for those individuals as they did not have any choice in their condition.
