had a border collie a while back that would herd everything that moved.

used to herd dragonflies .

Mine tries to herd cars if he's let loose near a road.

it's pretty cool how their instincts just take over. My BC had never even been trained to do anything. just started herding stuff. threw her a basketball, she herded that damned thing too.

I never trained mine, he just...listens. I don't know how I got lucky enough to find him. Searched for days on doggie dating websites to find the right pup. Picked him up the day after and he has been, far and away, the sweetest, most gentle, and intelligent dog I've ever had or been around.
