This is a solid reddit entry. Even if you don't find it particularly scary, it's a well-written story that's pretty creepy.

This is 100% true.
My wifes Aunt has a story that she recently told me. She was living with her brother at the time of his death. She was also pregnant for her first kid at the time. Three weeks after his death the kitchen caught fire and all was damaged except one cabinet which contained the brothers favorite candy (skittles). That was creepy enough.
They continued to live in the house and the baby was born. Three years later Harry, the kid randomly presents the family with skittles that he was given. Nothing much was though of it until it started frequently happening. She asked where he was getting the skittles and his reply was the "candyman." Again a little creepy, but not much put into it. The family had no pictures of the deceased brother in their house, but one Easter at the grandparents while his mother was holding him Harry points to the wall and says "hey mom look its the candyman"

Yes, it's been preparing for the last 6 hours. The good news is 95% of what is coming out is clear, bad news is that it's still coming out.
