I'm too pussy, but I can probably get a couple guys at work to do it if I can get a back story.

This thread rocks. I had 24 hour CQ guard duty yesterday, and reading the stories/being scared like a girl kept me up the whole night.

So I have been reading this thread off and on since Halloween but been have not to post this story this i have family that lurk TD.

I was about 7 or 8 when i spent the weekend at a friends house when my parents went to wedding in Shreveport (we lived in Houston). Saturday my friend had boy scouts and i was going to have to tag along even though i had quit the scouts at cub. Well this was right after he gotten and N-64 and i stayed up all night playing season after season of NFL blitz i do not think i got an hour of sleep. The next day the scout leader took us out on some hike, i stumbled dozing off in the back of the pack as they did there thing.

Anyway later that afternoon he is suppose to drop all of the crew at each of our respective houses. Now i took this opportunity to pass out in the back of the van. I woke up a few hours later my friend was grabbing my leg tight trying to wake me, he looked pale and sweating bullets. We were the only ones left in the van and the sun was already going down. What i did not realize earlier that day was that this was not the normal troop leader. So after woke up i realized that something was not right and we needed to get out of the bus. I did not know where we were or how to get home. Chris asked the him how much longer and he said "we will be there soon" in different accent then earlier (more redneck). We both start to freak out.
When we got off the high-way i notice a fiesta on bellaire that Mexican nanny use to take me too. When we came close to stop we both jump out of the car screaming running into the store. The scout leader was arrested years later in Colorado for trying the same thing.

I'm now caught up on the thread, but have a shite frickING TON of reading to do based on the links I've copied/pasted into Word. Some of these series stories on nosleep are long as frick.

Just copied/pasted the Spire in the Woods one into its own Word document, and it's 104 pages.

Can't wait to read them all though. Still have the Penpals series as the best in this thread...hope some of these come close.

Love this thread so much, and am glad to see it continue to get bumped with cool stories.

There was one I read a while back that I can't find. It was basically somebody's nightmare into Hell. Like they'd dream that they were in Hell or whatever, but then they were actually there or some weird shite.

It was a really cool, creepy, freaky read. But I can't find it now. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

I read it like 5-10 minutes at a time so I don't know how long it took total but it is LONG! It's very well written but I didn't like the ending at all.

Best of 2013 stories on NoSleep. Couple already mentioned but worth a look if you haven;t read them.

I though The Spire in the Woods to have a pretty real ending. I didn't understand the Alina angle until that last part. Great read and LONG.
