Need the help of the OT: First world problem

I’ve been sailing in the BVI for nine days in a monohull. No ac. Ran out of fresh water two days ago and out of ice today. Tomorrow we’ll be on Jost Van Dyke and will have full amenities. Help me make it through this last night please. I need a shower badly.

It’s a two day funk. Yes, I need a shower. Have no desire for Capt. Marla. My wife is on board. Tomorrow will be a glorious day. AC and I can shower as long as I like.

Honestly, I’ve never heard anyone stranded in the ocean complain about having to much water to drink and not enough to bath with. Must be nice. I’d keep an eye on Capn Marla, she’s probably bathing in you drinking water.

Dry off thoroughly after a swim and there will be very little salt residue. Or, use a cup of drinking water for a follow on sponge bath if you’re a wuss.
