Salesperson at Oakley in BR told my son to get regular sunglasses, not polarized, if playing in the outfield. Just passing along what we were told.

I used black lenses when I played. I find sometimes it can be hard to stay on the ball, especially popups with polarized. Since polarized glasses reduce glare it messes with your depth perception and can be hard to find in the sun

I've bought 2 different types of after market lenses on Ebay with no problems at all. I use them for saltwater fishing and cycling. Can't remember the seller, sorry.

I've used E-bay with success before- just make sure that you buy from someone that has a high rating and 90%+ positive feedback.

I think the line of logic to getting crappy glasses for baseball is that they will most likely get scratched and beaten up a little bit. Which is why you wouldnt want to spend the money on nice polarized lenses. That was always my approach at least.
