There used to be a place on old highway 90 (LA 182/New Orleans Blvd) — but I’m not sure if it’s still there

Shelly’s and the midget are long gone. It was a staple of the Houma/Bayou Blue area for years. Once she left the whole parish went downhill.

Are you talking about Bayou Angels?
If I recall the marquee when I passed by the place this afternoon, Don Rich was supposed to be playing there. Not sure if it was still a strip club.

This reminds me, anyone else remember Heavenly Bodies Strip Club in Houma? Back around 2000ish one of the strippers killed the owner if I recall correctly.
