Why not Safelite?

They just did my windshield. Made sure they only used the factory glass for the Jeep.

When it comes to automotive repair, I always try to find a local shop.

I got a quote over a year ago from Safelite. Dont remember the exact numbers but they were about $100 more than a local guy by the time you figure in all their fees and whatnot.

I have full glass coverage with my auto insurance so I never pay a penny out of pocket.

If you have a Jeep you better have full coverage glass....the angle of the windshield on a jeep wrangler is not as slanted as other vehicles...meaning you will end up with more chips/cracks/etc. I've had my jeep over 4 years...I'm on my 3rd windshield.

Correct... but State Farm will not offer glass coverage on Jeeps insured in the state. Trust me I tried. The reason given is what you stated, the angle allows for a higher percentage of cracks and due to the shitty roads here they wont cover a replacement.
