Brother recently bought a GT350. It has now blown two camshaft senors.

I read online that potentially it’s a alternator issue with mustangs.

Of course, stealership is giving him the run around.

I’ve already made fun of him for buying a 65k Ford. Just hoping maybe one of y’all have experience with the engine and/or electrical.

Does he have aftermarket amps/speakers that might be taxing the stock alternator?

Yeah LNCH it’s all under warranty. It’s the same sensor though. From what he’s told me, it has to happen another two times in the next year (4 total) for him to legally ask for a settlement

Nothing aftermarket Resto. This car blew the sensor the first time with less than 10k on it.

Well, I've got nothing other than keep giving him shite for buying the Ford.

Oh lord he’s getting it from everyone except my dad (ford fanboy).

Like I know Sewell here would pick up your BMW/Benz/Lexus here no questions asked and leave you with a loaner.

A Shelby and/or Mustang forum is bound to have covered this topic.

This could be part of his problem. What does his attraction to Mexican men have to do with his car problems?

How can two sensors go bad? Are they positioned incorrectly? Getting touched by something, or vibrating?

Update:

Ford is now requesting the car for a complete engine rebuild.

I'm never buying a fricking Ford. My brother is in full meltdown currently.
