It's printed right there on the side of it...

If your stomach gets that hot during digestion, I'd be extremely concerned and I would see a doctor immediately.

Exactly. You can't really appreciate how much sugar is in a single soft drink until you can see it for yourself in a simple experiment like this.
Just crazy amount of sugar. And it's not even real sugar to boot (HFCS).

Don't know if this is true, but a friend of mine use to drive for Coca Cola. He told me coke has a special exemption from the Dept of transportation to avoid having to place "hazardous chemical " signs on their trucks.
Seems some component of the cargo meets some of the criteria for hazardous cago.

You needed to see it boiled down into a syrup to understand that 44g/cup is a lot of sugar?

Visual evidence is powerful.
Just saying "44 grams of sugar" isn't as effective as what's shown in the video IMO.

do you see hazmat placards on beer, wine, or liquor trucks?

you could just weight out 44 grams of sugar and see how much it is then pour it back in the bag
no need to waste 5 bucks boiling 2 bottles of coke.

I guess. Seems a little sensational. Use just enough sciency stuff to convince your average person that some burnt sugar is a dubious black tar of death.
Want to know what's really interesting? Orange juice, which some people may decide to replace their coke with after seeing this, has even MORE sugar.

Yeah grocery store bottled juices are notoriously high in sugar.

Cooked up, it looks like Mexican heroin.

I've actually been cutting my juices with club soda and really enjoy it. Get a little bit of carbonation with half the sugar of regular drinks.

hope he glazes a ham with it. MmmMmm

This is retarded. What do you expect when you burn sugar?
Posted on 6/17/14 at 11:59 am to TheDrunkenTigah
They put a TON of sugar in cranberry juice to make it drinkable.
But the straight stuff will clear up a UTI like nobody's business.
Cutting soft drinks/bottled juices from your diet is a huge factor in losing weight.. not a big news flash.
