Yeah...it's true. You can bend the really flat ones, but there is no doubt that the 47 Brand and Franchise hats are bent on the shelves while the New Era ones (and I guess Nike for NCAA) are mostly flat on the shelves and that appeals to different tastes.
I'm not saying you can't bend a hat's bill, but I am saying that they appear on the shelves as different styles on purpose.
I personally don't like New Era hats because they sit too high on the head and the bills, once bent, don't look as good as the Franchise or 47 Brand hats.
That's just my opinion. Might smell like poo to others, but so what.

There is a way to bend the New Era 59Fifty hats. Check out this guy on youtube who goes through how to bend these hats.

Those bills are reinforced with space age nanomaterials. You can bend it all you want and it snaps back into its original flat configuration.
