Just take it apart and see if anything looks off. Fixed two roombas that way. For one I just needed to clean off the circuit board with toothbrush soaked in isopropyl alcohol. For the other it just needed a new battery. If youre getting an error code then plug that into google search - whatever the problem, someone has already solved it in some online repair forum.

It's the problem where hair gets wrapped around the gear in that little gap. I've been able to fix it several times in the past but have tried everything with no luck this time.

Searched and no one local would fix it for under the price of a new one. I called Neato and set up a work order for repair and shipped it to them. They ended up sending me a new one. It was 2 years old at the time.

Just vacuum more often and the hair problem goes away.

I bought mine from Best Buy and it started acting up 18 months in. Went to BB to get the receipt so I could send it back and just talked up the girl helping me. She said why don't we just return it and you buy the extended warranty for the new one so this doesn't happen again. Best $40 I've spent in a while.

Be really nice and sometimes you get an employee that will go the extra mile to help you out.
