What are those?

You think oil changes are expensive?

The days of $15 oil changes in the back yard are done with $7/qt+ oil.

It sucks how bad everything is now. So yeah Oil changes are expensive especially if you don't do them yourself. Take 5 synthetic oil change is $79.99. So yeah it's not exactly cheap anymore.

Come for the high EV prices… but stay for the high ICE maintenance expenses.

Not really, smaller battery pack than pure EV's so less cost there. The ICE does much less work and since it gets help from the electric motor. The wear and tear is less overall, there are hybrid NYC taxis with hundreds of thousands of miles on them.

I find synthetic oil on Amazon for about $4 a quart and change the oil in all my vehicles. I run a lot of miles between changes due to running synthetic.

They make non-plug-in hybrids.

If someone offered me one of those for free, I'd jump at it. (Long commute.)

I wouldn't be interested in a free EV. Charging it would be too much of a hassle.

I'll have to look it up. I've been getting my brakes and rotors from them but just didn't consider it for oil for some dumb reason. Toyota has the hybrids figured out pretty good as far as longevity and efficiency.
