I think is a bit of a misnomer to say “cut the cord” unless you dump the internet.
I’d say OTA only is really cutting the cord.

movies, tv shows - google
Most tv shows/movies can be found and watched for free. It might be hard to find them but 90% of the time you can find it online for free.

I've really enjoyed PS Vue out of all the ones I tried. My only complaint is how many damn remotes I have to keep up with especially with a 16 month old remote thief. Cable I used to be able to sync everything to 1 now i have a TV, sound bar, and amazon remote.
