Nationwide Apple promo code glitch gives free Beats

For a few hours tonight if you put MACBEATS in the promo code box when ordering beats from Barnes and Nobles university websites all it charged you was shipping.
I know it happened at LSU, UConn, and a few other major universities. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening to a large company like Apple?

They usually place stops on stuff like this. Kids will just get 10% instead.

I got a tip and ordered a pair and only paid for shipping. Got a confirmation email so fingers crossed it works.

Got free Beats when I bought my new laptop through the Apple Education store a couple of weeks ago. Still haven't opened them and thinking about maybe selling online somewhere.
