Almost $400 for going 87 in a 75?
Is this the norm for speeding in LA these days??

They should have arrested you for wreckless driving.

Damn... 75 mph speed limit is what it should be on I-55 in MS.. way too flat of a road for 70 to be the limit on

Honestly figured since they set it at 75, they weren’t trying to write tickets.

Damn, for just 20 extra bucks you could have opened it up to 100+

What a wasted opportunity.

if everyone would do a little time/distance math they'd find the risk/reward for those few extra mph is not worth it, especially on short to medium distances

If they wanted to actually prevent speeding, all they have to do is post these ticket rates. But they are not trying to ensure your safety, they want to fund their new Tahoes.

Someone should tell that to the people on Beltway 8 who will run your arse over if you aren't going 80.
