I was flying from Nashville to Houston and a very petite woman with lots of blond hair came alone into the waiting area. A burly guy joined her several minutes later. I thought to myself that she sure does a good imitation of Dolly Parton, and I saw all these children looking at her but keeping a respectful distance. Then she motioned for them to join her. She was so nice to them, signed so much stuff, smiles and engaged with all of them and their parents.

It was only later she started Imagination Library which has been so important for childhood literacy.

Really can't think of one. Let's be honest here-----when any of us pass, will ANY so-called celebrity give a rat's arse when it happens????

My thought is "No", so why should I feel any emotional pangs when they do?
