How exactly do you kill a guy with a 5 gallon water jug?
Well, 5 gallons of water weighs about 44 pounds...
Crazy story though.

I looked it up and no, what you are saying is not normal. As I suspected, most just call it their “break” or “meal break”
Just asking AI isn’t “looking it up.”
You can reverse its response just by rephrasing the question
Which is in line with my experiences. It gets reinforced somewhat that the job site uses the same terminology in terms of their HR and attendance polices across all shifts.
Maybe you should consider the root problem here is something all too common on the OT and social media in general honestly:
you just admitted you have had no experience or exposure to that term usage context, and yet felt confident enough in that ignorance to call someone else out on using it in it. It’s only after digging your heels at getting called out yourself did you put any energy at all into looking into it and it was at the smallest of efforts and focused on the angle defending your original statement, not finding out truth.

Luckily they’ll clear this lunch break/meal break debacle up in court since it’s central to the investigation

Dang, Volvagia, you're strict.

Bruh, you used shitty Gemini. I’m on Claude 8.0. Try to keep up.
Lighten up. I seriously put the exact same question as you in Claude and got an opposite result. Maybe it’s a regional thing. My first post was half joking about the author using the term “bottle” to describe a 5 gallon jug. Then using”lunch” to describe a meal eaten at 1:30am. I may have overstepped on that part. Fine. Maybe I learned something. But I don’t feel like I was WAY OFF either as you are indicating.
