So who's going to buy the house that you won't be able to afford?

That's where the problem gets worse--no one else is going to want your house because it's too expensive to insure.

Yep. A ton of seemingly "good deals" all along the MS Coast right now.

Until you pull that insurance quote.

Show me an insurance agent that isn't living high on the hog.

There are 2 agents here in Monroe (Allstate and State Farm). They both live in squire creek in million dollar plus homes.

Good luck getting them to pay out on a claim. Good hands people my arse.

My Allstate premium dropped $100 this year. They also paid out 27k to replace our roof after IDA without pushback.

That said, I represented someone in a suit against them and they wouldn’t settle until pressured to do so by the judge.

And Roofing companies. They have to share some blame at this point. Every single person I know has had a roof replaced due to hail. That is a new phenomenon.

Also, crooked Public Adjusters who go out and make a $30,000 claim into $150,000. They make 10% so in their best interest to inflate the claim. It is an abusive practice.

Thank the good lord that our governor knocked out the important things like THC gummies and the ten commandments in schools.
Now he can worry about less important things like this
