This may be true. However the sins of Chicago will be passed onto those on Possom trot Rd in BFE

We are going in the opposite direction. Look at all of the states that have recently passed constitutional carry. LA needs to step up.

Where do you live that you're doing background checks on ammo?

My background checks are for firearms.

Why would ammo be any longer?

I'm aware. The question was rhetorical.

Stores like Bass Pro Shop or Academy would have lines 50 deep if you had to do a background check for ammo.

This is no bull shite. When I worked for local government when I was in college, it was me, a part time worker, the building inspector and we had a student worker at the time.

Student worker was a black dude. Good kid, his dad was a Deacon, he went to Catholic school and was in college, etc. His cousin had "beef" with a group of people and they were never able to catch him so they jumped the kid that worked with us. He came to work a few times scratched up and told us he wiped out on his dirt bike.

One Monday I go into work. Me and the inspector were the first ones there along with a higher up and he tells me they guy shot and killed someone that Sunday night.

We found an application for a gun in his desk. He wanted to do it legally, but he also felt like he needed to protect himself. He got one on the street. But when they jumped him the last time, he didn't have it on him. He went inside, got the gun and went out and shot one of the dudes and killed them. Pre meditated murder. His is in Angola for the rest of his life, but my point is. You can get a gun easier illegally than you can legally (it was his first time buying so they had to do a background check, etc, etc)

As long as you have a black market, it makes no sense to make any type of laws. If you make it harder to get, people will get one an easier way. What needs to happen is some type of crack down on the illegal gun trade.

Yes, there are shooting that take place with guns bought legally, but the problem is in the streets. Instead of doing inspection sticker checks, they should start doing illegal gun checks.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A LIE! Thats not how paperwork to buy a gun is done.

People are required to fill out an extra form if they buy pistol on multiple occasions in a one week period correct?

Simple regulation with Biden claiming he made the streets safer is sometimes all that’s needed to quiet everything down.

And? What does that have to do with ammo background checks taking forever?

Just give them a little bit and they'll leave us alone, right?

I bought a lower receiver and a complete AR from a FFL guy, same time, took 5 days to get approval.

My one purchase at Sportsman's Warehouse, it took 30 minutes. I'm not sure where these leftists get the idea that anyone can just walk in and out easily with a firepower.

I cannot order ammo from out of town, unless ordered through a FFL. My FFL stopped dealing in ammo, so I am restricted to what is on local shelves. We aren't on a road system, has to be flown in

We can order ammo in the mail in LA. I have noticed they check my ID now in the stores too.

Growing up you could walk into Walmart and buy a shotgun or rifle without a background check. We used to buy ammo at the hardware store when we were kids

Can't here, it has to be flown or barged in. I would have to buy a shitload of ammo to make it worthwhile on the barge.

We have so many gun stores around here I usually just buy it in person. There's a new range and gun store right by my house called Range USA and they have pretty good prices.

I've ordered some online before though.

There is zero proof of this.
