To kinda get back on OP subject.
I’ve taken 2 cruises out of NOLA. First one was a great cruise. The level of trashy was extremely low. The second cruise was a different story. The amount of trashy had increased.
My third cruise was out of Mobile. The level of trashy was off the charts. Let’s say table manners weren’t taught to that group. One family at lunch (all over weight) ate like slobs.
Over heard one girl tell her brother’ “I can’t believe you’re eating again because you just ate a few minutes ago”. His reply was “This is my fifth hamburger “.
Last cruise I took this year was out of Miami. Little to no trashy on there. Women were unbelievable beautiful/sexy. About 40% wore thongs.
Getting in touch with the new theme on the board. On day one my girlfriend picked a spot for us by the pool and she was going back to the room for a few. I setup in one of the chairs and within 5 minutes a woman from New York starts to hit on me. She lets it be known she is on the cruise with no spouse. She wanted the “D”.
My ex went on a cruise a few years back with some of her friends. Almost all married. Heard through the grapevine their goal was to be with a different man each night.

The cruise out of mobile is a horror show. It’s the oldest Carnival boat and thus the cheapest. Coming out of Alabama, it attracts the lowest on the socio/economic scale. It’s like a floating Dollar General.
The Carnival boats in New orleans are a mixed bag. They tend to invite a cheesy party crowd. Neck tats and bad boob jobs. If you go in the fall or winter, it’s hardcore party folks with no kids. Summer might have some kids so more of a family atmosphere relatively speaking.
If you’re into people watching, the Carnival experience will bring some decent stories (as I’m sure the OP will find out)
There’s a Royal Carib boat coming to New Orleans and they always cater to a classier clientele. The Disney boat will be nice and family oriented. I don’t support their liberal bs though.
