I'm conservative just like the rest of my family, but I'll take an opposite viewpoint just to debate. Nobody is gonna change anyone else's opinion though.
Both sides get lied to all the time. It's fun to see people's expression when you open their eyes to things they don't know or understand.

What I have found is that most people who want to talk politics don't want to debate, they want to lecture you. We don't talk politics at family gatherings even though 90% have roughly the same views.

I’m so glad I moved away from Louisiana. You can’t control where you come from, but you damn sure can control where you end up.
This was the first first fight I’ve witnessed since college.
I def relate to the trashy side, i brought a cooler of miller lite to both family gatherings.
