My son is a Junior in HS and he's set on applying to the Air Force Academy and going through LSU Rotc if he doesn't get in.
Last week I picked him up from XC practice and he had a Marines Shirt on. He said the USMC were recruiting in the cafeteria area during lunch and giving t-shirts to kids who could do 10+ pull-ups(I think girls could do 1 or 2).
I don't care which route he goes to become an officer in the US Military, but I admit I was hoping the Marine Recruiter sparked an interest in him.
