my impressions of augusta area

Ok. It didn't take long to see that Augusta proper is a little crappy outside of a couple areas.
But the Evans area is pretty sweet. I have been impressed and like it a lot.
I know no one cares but there it is.

Had the unfortunate mishap of getting stationed at Ft. Gordon for a while.

you should have gone Armor instead of commo. That way you could have spent some quality time at beautiful Ft. Knox, KY and it's two neighboring metropolis's, Radcliff & Elizabethtown.

As someone who grew up in Augusta, I must also agree that Augusta is, for the most part, a shite hole.
