Based on your downvotes and mine, this "no makeup" decision is his. What a big fricking mistake not letting her wear make-up. At least let her wear some colored lip gloss or something. It's what women do, wear makeup. Your job is to raise a young woman, not repress her.

If your daughter wanted a softball glove or a catcher's mask is that OK? How about if she wanted be the field goal kicker for the football team because of her soccer skills and wanted to go to guys kicking camp?

I would like to remind everyone that the topic of this thread is a 7 year old boy that wants makeup. This is a symptom of the breakdown of the parental unit. At 7, my children didn't know makeup existed. Children need to be limited in their exposure to popular culture and media as they can be persuasive and misleading.
