We used to use the employee entrances to take short cuts through the mall. These were very dark hallways that ran behind all the stores. I legit wouldn’t enter those now without packing heat

Sad. Very sad. I was in the area a few weeks ago and rode around the perimeter of the mall but didn’t stop. I shite you not it looked largely abandoned, almost like a post apocalyptic landscape after a nuclear war. It’s just sad to remember Cortana and how popular and packed it was in its 80’s heyday and to see it now dying a slow death.

Yes, all of this. Cortana was even packed at times just after Katrina. By 2008 though, it was obvious that a few financial bandaids were not going to turn it around.
